Classic Red Sauce Pasta Recipe – Easy, Delicious & Perfect for Every Meal
Boil the Pasta
Heat water in a large pan and add salt.
Add pasta and cook until soft (al dente).
Drain the water and keep the pasta aside.
Prepare the Sauce
Heat oil in a pan.
Add chopped garlic and sauté until fragrant.
Add onions and cook until light golden.
Pour in tomato puree and cook for 5–7 minutes until the raw smell disappears.
Add Flavors
Add ketchup and chili sauce.
Mix well and cook for 2–3 minutes.
Add salt, black pepper, chili flakes, and oregano.
Stir everything properly.
Combine Pasta
Add boiled pasta into the sauce.
Mix well so the pasta is fully coated.
Add butter for extra richness (optional).
Cook for 2–3 minutes on low flame.
Serve
Turn off the heat.
Garnish with fresh herbs.
Serve hot and enjoy!
Jasmine Gold Rice
Rinse the Rice:
Wash the jasmine rice under cold water 2–3 times until the water runs clear. This removes excess starch.
Soak (Optional):
Soak the rice for 15–20 minutes for better texture. Drain before cooking.
Boil Water:
In a saucepan, bring 1.5 cups of water to a boil.
Add Rice:
Add the rice, salt, and oil/butter (if using). Stir once gently.
Cook:
Cover with a lid, reduce heat to low, and let it simmer for 12–15 minutes until water is absorbed.
Rest:
Turn off the heat and let the rice sit covered for 5 minutes.
Fluff & Serve:
Gently fluff with a fork and serve hot.
